Getting Started

You have two options for entering your layout data. You can enter through the Step By Step form or you can enter from the Edit Layout Data screen. The latter has more detail to be entered and is more difficult for the first time user, thus it is not recommended for the novice. The Step By Step walks you through 20 steps to enter your layout data asking questions about your layout. It also explains more as to what is going on and why. If you are unsure of how to get data into this program, you should use the Step By Step.

The Step By Step saves as you go along, so you do not need to enter all the data in one day. If you decide to use the Step By Step you should still read through the section below on entering the data through the Edit Layout Data as it will be in here that you will add more or alter the data you have entered.

If you elect to use just the Edit Layout Data you should follow the next set of 7 pages for getting data into the program. Though it appears to be less steps than the 20 Step-By-Step, it is not as friendly in that it does not ask questions.  However, over time you will use the Edit Layout Data exclusively.

Regardless of which method you use, don’t worry if you do not get it all completed in one day. Take your time and get it right the first time.
