I have always wanted to have a greenhouse.  One that I could grow not only plants, but also have free flying birds (mostly finches). The issue was it had to be able to work and be heated in the dead of winter nights.  After careful searching I found the greenhouse.  It's a dome structure kit produced by Growing Spaces in Colorado.  I bought the 33ftr.

It needed to be placed where I could get at it easily, so it's close to the house.  Though there are trees around, they provide some shade in the summer but with leaves gone allow sun into the structure in the winter.

An insulated foundation down 4 ft was required.  The best solution for that was styrofoam forms that concrete is poured inside of.  Complete homes are being built of this stuff.  So I got the forms from Quadlock.  They needed to be precisely cut to fit the 15 walls of the structure.

It contains tropical plants, tropical birds, and a creek and pond.  There is a sitting area inside beside the pond and one can just sit and watch the birds play.
