  The dome is segregated into two areas.  The tropical area houses tropical plants and trees and the free flying birds.  The cultivated area is for winter growing of vegetables.  The two are separated by 1/4" wire mesh to keep the birds from getting into the cultivated area.  Once the dome was started it became clear that the very north wall is not going to get much sun, especially with the plans in front.  So i sent the walkway around the back with a 24" retailing wall of bricks to hold back the raised beds.  So when you enter from the west door, you will have the option of going left around the back to get into the dome, or right to get into the cultivated area.  Forward will be blocked by plants.
